The new working class: diversity and innovation in modern societies

The new working class: diversity and innovation in modern societies

31 oktober, van 18:00 tot 19:30, De Balie, Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen 10, 1017 RR Amsterdam

Our societies have changed: traditional class divisions, linked to political identities, do not exist anymore. However, this does not mean that people do not identify themselves as part of a specific class anymore. A lot of people are actually part of a ‘new working class’, but do not feel represented by a political party anymore. How can political parties connect with these voters again? And how can we reach the potential of diverse modern-day societies, instead of being limited by social divisions?
